The Human Resource (HR) unit is responsible for human resource activities within DJS including employment, personnel classification, compensation, employer-employee relations, risk management, employee records and reports. This unit also is responsible for the testing of all unique classes within DJS and serves as the liaison and coordinating office for DJS' collective bargaining activities. The unit objectives are to maintain a pool of prescreened applicants, to fill vacancies quickly, to ensure completion of PEP evaluations and send monthly compliance reports.
