FINAL BOOK CONTEST PRESENTATION HELD AT WESTERN MARYLAND CHILDREN'S CENTER
The Western Maryland Children's Center was the last stop in the round robin of facility book contests. Fourteen youth presented a scene from a book of their choice by acting out a skit, drawing an image, or writing a speech.
All of the youths who participated won gift cards to Borders Books totaling $140.00 to support continued reading and writing. Thanks go out to English teacher Ms. Hoffman, Superintendent Mark Bishop and Case Manager Heather Petro for all of their support for this dynamic event.
